MET WITH SPEAKER GOWAN
On Saturday I had lunch with Speaker of the House David Gowan. We touched on many issues and spoke in length about the need for the legislature to help fund a VA Home in Flagstaff. The Speaker committed to coming back to Flagstaff soon to pursue this further. This is great news for our Veterans.

 LOW PROPERTY TAXES
I’m happy to have lead the charge to keep Flagstaff property taxes low. For the fourth year in a row the city portion of your property taxes will remain flat!

CITY MANAGER APPOINTED

EXITING SPEC HOUSE BUSINESS
One of my campaign promises from 2012 was to get the City out of the spec house business. On Tuesday Council will vote to hand over the Izabel Homes project to Habitat for Humanity. This is great news for the taxpayers of Flagstaff. I’ve pushed on this since 2012. The city should not be in this business.

BizPac Event with Corporation Commissionier Tom Forese is this Wednsday at 5:30PM. Contact Stuart McDaniel 928-774-4505 for info.
