NAU student who voted for $15min wage now opposed.

Lauren Bradley moved to Flagstaff from Las Vegas her freshman year at NAU. She was 19 and a first time voter in 2016 and voted for Flagstaff’s $15 minimum wage. Two years later she’s now opposed to this law and is supporting prop 418, which if passed would slow the minimum wage increases down and stop Flagstaff from having one of the highest minimum wages in the nation.

Here’s what Lauren had to say recently on the Jeff Oravits Show.

And don’t forget to catch an all new Jeff Oravits Show tomorrow at 4PM on 97.1FM with Arizona Congresswoman Martha McSally and Senator Joni Ernst of Iowa. Streaming link at

  1. I am glad that Laureen has seen the light, but this just points out again why people who are only part time residents of Flagstaff (or any other city for that matter) should not vote on issues that will affect the residents of that city. Laureen should have had an absentee ballot from Las Vegas and voted on issues that pertain to her hometown. I wonder how many students voted for the original minimum wage prop and are no longer living in our city.
