Flagstaff 11th snowiest winter on record. With a 1/2” of snow reported on March 1st and another 21.2” inches last night at the Flagstaff airport, the total snow received so far this winter is 140.1”. That’s just a 1/2” away from the 10th snowiest winter so it’s likely Flagstaffs already there with totals still to be reported for today.
The Arizona Snowbowl received 36” in the last 24 hours and 90” in the last week for a season total of 322”. That’s just shy of 27’ of snow for the season.
Schools closed. NAU has a 4 hour delay today opening at noon. Most Flagstaff area schools are closed with FUSD using its 12th snow day this season.
Many NAZ highways closed from I-17 at Black Canyon to Flagstaff, I40 from Winslow to Flagstaff and Kingman to Flagstaff. Check current closures here.
